After a false start, Deontay Wilder is officially scheduled to return to the ring on June 27 vs. Tyrrell Herndon at the Charles Koch Arena in Witchita, Kansas.

Wilder will be back in action for the first time in over a year. His last time out he was stopped by Zhilei Zhang in Saudi Arabia in five rounds. After losing 3 of his last 4 Wilder is looking to put his past string of defeats behind him and has titled his return fight as "Legacy Reloaded." (see video below)

At 39 years old Wilder is looking to make one last run in the sport and Herndon is the first test he must pass to do so. Herndon is on a three fight win streak himself and is looking to put Wilder away for good and springboard his own career into the boxing mainstream, and eventual big fights.

Fellow gym mate Deon Nicholson is also scheduled to return. Since losing to Efetobor Apochi in 2021, Nicholson has won seven fights in row, including winning the vacant WBA Continental North America Light Heavyweight title against Sergio Jimenez.

Nicholson has been patiently waiting for a big fight and is currently in the top 20 of most sanctioning bodies.

The upcoming fights for Wilder and Nicholson have important future consequences and both will be looking to continue gaining momentum going into the second half of 2025.
